a monthly poetry blog

Poetry

Wonderfully weird and entirely visceral, poetry is my passion. I write as often as I can (usually monthly), taking local classes and honing my craft.

saturn

space goes on for light-years
i'm all alone out here
but i can see your saturn rings
spinning rocks, ice and dust
into tracks i could run on
jupiter's gravity holds on
its gases swirl around me
but you're still out there
clearer than any jewel
sparkling in a sun beam
how can i reach out to you?
do you see me the same way?
floating on our own planets
the dark side never explored
i may never walk your rings
but i'm glad that you exist
suspended in the same space
glimmering in my galaxy
