the mind's matter
murky musings are whirling
milky galaxies swish swirling
grand societies unfurling
(no telescopes powerful enough to detect them)
the best of today’s intentions
tomorrow’s playful inventions
yesterday’s fading questions
(all colliding on mammoth and micro levels)
profound feelings with no name
travelling in comets aflame
across a nebula untamed
(shifting shapes from waking to dreaming)
as petty pluto thoughts fly
weighty jupiter skies
form a storm behind my eye
(each planet orbited by their own distinct moons)
(when you shake me out of my reverie
wish i could bring back more than a memory
of a meteor crumbled by its collision with earth)
